Default Now you really can call me a snake

As some of you know, my 01 SS was hit the other week and some pretty major damage was done to the rear quarter. Well I decided to trade in the SS on an 03 Cobra (its never been titled). I have converted to the dark side. At least I have forged internals and a supercharger now.

There will be no conversion. I do not buy used sports cars, people just beat the crap out of them. I will get some pics tonight.

Still American muscle. And as much as I hate to admit it, the stang is the original. Congrats on your new car.

Why??? I'd love an '03 Cobra. Ls1's rule, but you can't argue with the performance of the snake. You get a warranty, a blower, and some low 13./high12. slips with it.

There was no doubt that I was going domestic. American muscle the whole way. My buddy benefited from this also. He got my longtubes, true duals and shifter for practically nothing. He is throwing in a monster cam and we will be racing soon

Don't come back here ever again.

Just kidding. But good luck with it. I bet you need a transmission before the end of the year, with the way Fords drop 'em.

Unless you know the guy and what he has done buying a used LS1 and any other High Performance ride can be a big risk IMO.

With what is currently out there I would take the new Cobra as well. Dump 2 to 3 k and get a pulley and different catback and tune and some DRs.

For myself I would get best bang for buck and the Cobra IMO has it for a new vehicle. Good luck with it.

One of my local buddy has a 03 Cobra and with just a pully, headers, exhuast, and some intake tract mods he put down like 460 rear wheel hp. That pretty stout in my opinion for that little of an investment.

Ahh ahh ahhhh...I remember seeing your car. It's damned purty...but that little 'ol cam and converter just ain't enough.

Nice choice on the Cobra. I hope you don't run into any problems with it. PM me if you have questions.

Thanx Unit....you have been answering my questions already.

YellowBird...its really gonna stink when you get your butt kicked by a hot 25 year old driving a Cobra

Got the car tonight and it moves.....definately the best Mustang I have ever been in. It will be fun to be on the other side. I am looking forward to beating (and losing to) the LS1 crowd. I will always miss the f-body.

I have some pics, but do not know how to attach them (the files are too large)

My g/f is 28, but she's hot like fi-ya. You definitely don't want to roll up on her. She'll crack the bottle too if you're not careful.
