Default What shims to use for setting preload??

I'm going to set up the preload for my new comp r's along with a new set of harland sharp RR's and i'm not sure where to buy theshims or what exactly to order. Should i order the square or round shims? I saw some in Jegs but i was not sure which to get or if they were correct. Thanks Shawn

I used Ford SVO shims. They are square but round will work as well. Jegs and Summit carry them.

i used round shims. the square ones will work fine. my only advice is make sure you get them in .015 incriments. the first set only had .030" and .060" shims and i needed .045" worth of shim. as you can see this created a problem. good luck to you

Are you sure that the square shims can be used with Harland Sharps?

Yes. I have used them for months. It was recommended to use the SVO shims.
