Default TH350/400 with 6.0L adaptor and flexplate

Is anyone with TH350/400 running standard bolt up pattern, normal off shelf converter built for that trans with a 6.0L flexplate, longer bolts and adaptor behind LS1 engine?

In other words not having to buy a special built TH350 converter with LS1 bolt pattern.

I had to use a TCI Flexplate to mate up to my converter. I'm pretty sure you will have to toss your stock flexplate. It's for the best anyway, as the TCI is SFI approved, and is pretty damn light.

My 1998 Ls1 stock flexplate will work on my 8" B&M Race converter. The stock flexplate will bolt up to an SBC patterned converter. It has two patterns on it from GM. All you need for the 350/400 swap is the 3 speed 4L80 electric speedo parts, I am using a TH400 ... no other parts are needed ... no adapter plate, no special converter ... well maybe just the cross member as well.
