I did a few "tests" in front of the house, too... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Even with a 1.82 1st gear, the car feels reallllly nasty coming off the 2-step (set at 4K rpm) and brake at full throttle. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I'll try it out at the track tomorrow night.

I have heard nothing but good from these things. So are you going all out full throttle tomorrow?I want one but it seems to be a problem with 98's for some reason.

I'll probably make a couple of easy passes to make double sure things still look OK, but I do plan on some full 1/4 mile passes...

AFAIK, the only problems with 98's and the Harlan 2-step is with M6 cars, and that's only if you're using the clutch pedal itself as the activation switch.

Hey George, I have marks both leaving my neighborhood and where we turned around coming back from Sonnys. That thing sure feels like an animal. If you want to see what it looks like going down the track I have no problem driving it for you <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> HA HA, man what a kidder <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

It's almost like a manual car in the sense that when the brake releases, WHAM, you're moving.

Kevin, I would let you drive, but I need somebody to run the videocamera. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

The unit plugs into the factory coilpack wiring harnesses, and there is a ground wire, and an activation wire. That's it.
