I would PM, email or call one of the guys at TEA and get their opinion. They have cams matched to either head choice depending on your goals

For a H&C on a 346 I'd go 5.3 Stg 1.5 or LS6 2.5s and I'd go with a hand finish on either. My 5.3 Stg 2s are making great power.

TEA heads seem to really like FMS custom cams.

Give me a call at the shop on Monday morning and we can discuss your setup's particulars and give a recommendation. Look forward to talking with you...ask for Brian Hogan when you call...

If you are talking about your own vehicle then please post what has happened in a factual manner. If it wasnt your car or if you were not the car performing the work on the vehicle this post will be locked.

Thanks,

TEA's are a very reliable for a set up in IMO based on my T/A having TEA heads on for almost two years and no reliablity problems ever. I have another set of TEA LS6 2.5's that will go on my RS. Based on buying two sets of TEA's if I buy another set of of LS1/LS6 heads they will be TEA's or TEA ported AFR's.

I have had one set of 5.3s that were great and one set of 5.7s for boost waiting to go on. I have had no problems with TEA in fact they have been very good to me. I am in the same boat IF I buy another set of heads they will for sure be TEAs. Why don't you tell the story. If it was so horrible I would like to hear it. You can pm me it if you want.

I am very interested now. ONEBAD and 01-Z please tell. I have had good luck with them myself. It seems that things go in a cycle here. Everybody is for a company one day then the next you hear they suck then the next their ok again. I think every sponser on this board has had some problem or another from folks on here. It would take more than 3 or 4 sets of bad heads for me not to want these. Like the problems Patriot WAS having. That turned me off of them. It was between TEA and Absolute when I got my heads and TEA got back in touch with me and Absolute, well I couldn't get ahold of him so I got the TEAs. I think now even Absolute is having problems with some stuff. Folks aren't getting the numbers they once did.
