Default FMS F13 or G5X2

I currently have a F13 cam 230/232 .59x/.59x 113 lobe 4 degress advanced. I was thinking of a G5X2 on a 114 lobe sep. Specs would be 232/240 .59x/.60x 114 lobe sep 4 degress advanced. These would be combinded on a stock shortblock with stage two TEA 5.3 liter heads milled .010. This combo will be seeing a 200 shot my NX wet kit.

I think the G5X2 would be better for spray. Would I have enough piston to valve clearence? I thought the Chicago Z06 was running a G5X2 on a 114 lobe sep with GTP stage two heads milled .015. What do you guys think?

You'd have to measure to be 100% sure on the P-V clearance. It'll probably be tight, but it might be fine.

You can always do a "valve drop" test and see how close things are before buying the cam. That'll get you in the ball park. Call LG and see what the recommended valve drop # is for that cam. I think it's .080" on the intake side.

I was thinking it would be close but would clear. I think the 114 lobe sep would give me some clearance over the 112. I think this cam would work better than the f13 on spray. Any other comments.
