The drivers side Mac is leaking at the ball flange...you can see the soot on the rusty part where its shooting out. Its not bad, just annoying to listen to.
Ive loosened and re-tightened the flange and it still leaks. Anyone ever have this happen? What fixes it? Please dont tell me to put three bolt flanges on cause that ain't gonna help me right now.

I would try cleaning the mating surfaces off with a wire brush to see if that helps seal it up. Make sure there isn't too much of an angle between the collector and the downpipe...that could cause a leak.

Loosen both sides (passenger and criver) and retighten each a little bit at a time. This should help for a more even fit.

Some high temp RTV will be a very temporary fix. Mine leaked, but the exhaust shop took care of it, and I am not sure exactly what they did.

Put antisieze around the ball flange before bolting up. Helps everything slide into place and seal better. Worked for me.
