Default Cat Question

Can you get away with running one cat in the I pipe as oppose to two in the Y-pipe?

You would lose HP. You would have to move the rear O2's . Why would you want to?

My drivers side cat is way too low for city driving. I'm trying to figure out a way to keep cats and not have the drivers side low.

If the cat's too low, then it's an install/y pipe fitment issue. Have it fixed, putting a single cat in will choke the car, probably worse than the stock exhaust did.

That's the problem. I don't relally see a fix. I have the Flowtech headers and Y. There really wasn't anywhere else to put them. I'm looking for catted exhaust pics to get ideas.

I cat in the i-pipe would be pointless. It also wouldn't really get hot enough to be beneficial. Take a look at the QTP (don't buy one) and see how the cats are placed. You can also look into buying some smaller cats (Random Tech) has some really small ones that should help your situation.

Good Luck..
