New BFG G-Force Drag Radial 2 available in 315-35-17 and CHEAP!!! Finally, the MUCH better design and hooking G-Force style (versus old style Comp TA style) is available in 315-35-17 and not just 18 inch. I was searching for some 315 tires (as mine are gone) and found that Tire Rack has these in stock for $138 each! That is about $40 cheaper than the old Comp TA Style. They have 6 tires left (I got 2) and should get them Friday. Just thought I would pass on some god news for those loking for the best hooking tires for 17 X 11....
I really want MT ET Street Radials, but as we all know, the 17 inch ones won't be avaialbe until (realistically) next year, and will only be a 275 series, which is a real stretch on 11 in. rims, and when you consider raing these tires all the time, the stretch is a concern. Hopefully they will make a 26 X 12.5 17 ET Street Radial....

I picked up my G-force Drag Radials about 2 weeks ago from a discount tire here in town. I got them both for $300 with mounting, balancing, and warranty. But $138 is real good, I'll get a second set as soon as I can from Tire Rack and keep them in the garage. Thanks.

Luckily a buddy of mine works at the Discount Tire I went to. Since this was my fourth pair getting from them he gave me a pretty good deal. And when I ordered them I asked for the Comp T/A Drag Radials but they gave me the G-force. I always knew that the Comp T/A's have been discontinued but I considered myself lucky for still being able to get them. They're basically the same tire but with a different name slapped on. Same compound, same tread design.

GOt em today, and they are the old style...damnit! I read up on them and they changed the name only....******* deceptive! Well, I got new tires for $300 so it isnt a total waste...but really wanted the new style, seem to hook better than old style, but maybe its just a difference in cars, who knows....

Who told you they were gonna be a new compound? I'm glad they're not a new compound, I've always liked the way they hooked up. It's like they say, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. If they've always hooked up just the way they are why bother with a new tread design?

Before July 1st 2004, there was a BFG G-Force TA DR and a Comp TA DR, both having their own tread design. Now they all have the same tread design as the old Comp TA DR.

guy at TIre Rack said it was different...I got mine yesterday and they feel softer than the last set I bought last year...I will put them on this weekend and try them out...still happy with $138 a tire, can't beat that...of course I have to replace them every year, but thats racing!

Got mine today from Tire Rack they are alsome , I had Nitto's before The BFgoodrich G Force 2's are wider than the Nitto's about an 1-1/2" before i had no tire rub now I do. I'm going to haft to roll my finders for the 315/35/17's and they have softer tread and side walls to can't weight to fire them up with my forged 348cid-M6 tomarrow.Not a bad price for two tires $308.00 includeing shipping to Ky.

on tire racks website it says that they have the old comp t/a tread pattern with gforce t/a on the sidewall being the only difference. tire rack is calling them the gforce ta-2. can some one that recieved theirs chime in and let us know what tread pattern they are???

Well, I read on here a while back,A bout a way to roll fender lips so I tryed it and it works but you will need some one to help you. The only thing you need is a alunimum base ball bat. The way you do this is put the tapered in between your finder lip and your tire and let some one (slowly) roll foward and reverse and pull the bat out alittle. If you notice the bat has a tapper to it that is what rolls the finder. You will need to perchase a small bat like a kids bat I know this sound crazy but it really works remember go slow and a little at a time. I did mine and did not even crack the paint,It's better if the car sets in the sun to worm the paint up to soften it up so it can stretch.

A little off the subject, but I live in Harlan and I was wondering who you have mount your tires? I've had discount tire mount a few, but they dont use the stick on magnets on the inside of the wheels.
I have my eye on some GS D3's.
