Default Ported T/B ??

I have a Bauer ported throttle that has the blade drilled out for a hot cam to idle better. Will I be able to get a new blade to put in the t/b or should I just sell the t/b and buy a ported one without the blade drilled...mods are in sig...thanks

contact bauer racing, maybe they can get you one, i doubt it , you'd probably have to buy another t/b to get the blade out of it. maybe you can buy a new blade from gm, im not really sure

Stop with the new blade thought and do what the man said! Rough up the inside of the hole, or countersink it from the front, fill it with JB weld and allow it to set up overnight, then sand it flush in the morning, or drill a smaller hole in it. 1 evening, 6 dollars, all fixed.

Blades are not available separately from GM. They are always in short supply.

The elegant fix is to TiG weld the hole closed, grind the weld flat then redrill it to stock size. I've seen theis done by Bauer. This isn't free but it's cheaper than another TB just to get the blade.

The jb weld might work. You'd still have to drill a new hole but not thru the patch. Same if you pop rivet. The rivet doesn't help the flow much.
