Default bad idea??

is it bad to use higher thatn 1 and 3/4 headers with my setup "sig".... i came up on a good deal for some 1 7/8s... kooks

what do u think?

I have a better deal for some hookers.... will there really be a difference in performance.... if so how big.... will either one sound better?

Stock discplacment, stock cam, stock compression...I'd hold out for the 1-3/4. Unless you are planning ahead. You'll might lose a couple ft/lbs on the bottom, but nothing terrible.

Agreed, the 1 3/4 is probally the right way to go for your current mods.
As far as the compairson goes, both will sound real nice as long as the correct exhaust setup is there.
I believe the Kooks are at the top of the class, however there probally wouldn't be much of a performance difference with your setup.
