Default ARE 422 LS1 + 67 Camaro = 9.76@137

Well, I went out to test my new combo!! we built a 422 cube LS1,pump gas hydralic roller, with a TNT FORCE 2 KIT and transplanted it in my 67 Camaro, with a tubo 400...The car went 9.76 @ 137 on some shake down passes not bad for the first day with the new combo, no trans brake just flat stabbiing it and we got 1.37 60ft`s, We well be offering these conversion kit`s very soon 67-69 Camaro & 68-71 Nova. Also keep you eye`s open in Popular Hotrodding as there is a conversion story on the way and a feature!

Congrats on the 9s! Tell us more about the engine itself. Sleeved aluminum block or iron? Who ported the heads? Cam specs? Any dyno figures? What is the weight of the car?

Got any photos online?

I used to own a '69 Camaro, and still have plans to buy and completely restore a nice RS/SS convertible someday.

Barry, that's awesome! Gonna bring that to M7 so we can stare at it! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

What would it take to do a 427 solid roller, same basic setup but for a 71 to 73 Camaro! That's what I'm debating about at the moment for the next project!

Barry I am going out Saturday or sunday to Cayuga (weather and wife depending <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> )

What days are you guys going to be there?

Shooting for 123mph on the stock clutch (at least once hehe)

I need that sheet faxed to me still as well.

Cheers,
Chris

What does that car weigh with the LS1 in it? It's an aluminum block, right?
