1.5's on Real Street Radials!
No, not me <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
I remember seeing a thread here probably 6-8 months ago (maybe older) where somebody was cutting 1.5X's on either GSC's or RSA's I believe it was. Had several witnesses and such.
After 2hrs and 37 minutes of searching, I have still had no luck finding it. Best I could come up with was JPR's 1.64 on F1's.
Anybody remember who it was?
TIA,
Dan <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I don't remember seeing anything like that... I thought it was Jay Fisher that had the awesome mid 1.6's on Goodyear GSC's...
It's been awhile...

Anybody who can cut 1.6s on "real" street radials, is extremely talented (and blessed). Many of us would be delighted to touch 1.9s! Just goes to show you that no matter how "good" one is, there's always somebody better. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
Well, there's always a solution . . . M/T ET Streets on Bogarts for me, next season . . . true, it's not the same, but . . . <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Both myself and Jess (leadsled on here) cut 1.62's on street tires. He was on RSA's and I was on regular nitto 555's, no drag radials... I had bolt-ons with a ST3500 and he had bolt-ons with a midwest 3200.

It's easier to cut impressive 60' when the track is prepped, or use of VHT. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> Won't happen here in So-Cal. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />

Re: 1.5's on Real Street Radials!
Maybe I'm crazy, but I would almost swear on my life that I remember seeing a 1.57 (or close) on 275 BFG's RSA's or maybe the GSC's.
Either way, a 1.64 is awesome for a real street radial <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
