Default Got bored, weighed my bone stock Hawk for you guys:)

Well, I had both my cars over at Speed Inc cuz I came right from work in the Hawk and my buddy Timmy brought my Camaro over from my house for dyno tuning.

We tuned the Z28 on the dyno and then did a huge burnout and launched the car a block away, and next thing you know, there's 4 Cops looking for me..so kinda had to park the car and hide

Anyway, we took the Hawk to scout around and there is a truck scale near there and we put the Hawk on it quick.

VERY surprising results..the car weighed 3480 only. This is a fully optioned 2000 Firehawk, bone stock, and it had 3/4 of a tank of gas in it with all my random **** in it from work and just using it as a daily driver.

Just thought I'd share the info for those wondering the weight of one of these pigs stock with alot of gas in it

My Formula hardtop weighed 3375 with me in it
I have simple/free weight reduction (all airbags, bumper supports, etc in place)
Cheers,
Chris

That weight was WITHOUT me or Timmy in it and with 3/4 tank of gas, which weighs quite a bit I would imagine, no?

Car was full weight as I drive it everyday, and had alot of misc. **** in it as it always does, cuz I practically live in the thing.

We went to that scale that's off of Mitchell road, the north south street that is two blocks east of Izzos.

Now I just wish I could have taken my camaro over there and gotten a weight on that one

I'm not sure whent its open, we've never gone to it on the weekend that I can remember, just on week nites, and usually not super late.

We've also never tested it by trying to just weigh outselves or anything..we're usually in a hurry cuz there are always workers and trucks around and we don't want to get in trouble

I weighed Dragula at both scales on Saturday.

The Weyerhauser scale off Rohlwing is messed up said raceweight was almost 4000 lbs.

The othe one is the Earl Jorgenson or Mortenson Steel Company scale it's on the South side of the building complex...

My car + me - passenger seat + stock hood = 3510 raceweight.

3340 with the seat in, and w/o me.

I have my stock hood back on for a month or two, and it's 10 lbs or so heavier than my old WS6 hood, so my old raceweight at the time of running 11.04 was 3490-3500 or so... I'd say 3500-3510 since I have tended to run the car with over a half tank of gas.

Not sure I where I will remove 100 more lbs to get to 3400 raceweight (ARE and I wanted to get the car to that weight) but every little bit counts my little floorjack is 20 lbs by itself.
