Default HELP!! bolt that holds the wiring harness on the pcm stripped...

god damn 12pt sockets!!

well, my POS socket just rounded off the corners of one of the 6mm bolts holding the harness on my PCM. I was able to get it loosened but I want to replace it so this won't happen again. Does anybody know if just the bolt is available?? I was able to get the bolt out of the harness by removing a little metal retaining clip and sliding it back out of the harness. I just need to order the bolt through GM if it's available....which I hope it is! Anybody know the part number or if it's even available??

thanks,
Paul

Go to your GM dealer and see if they can find one. If not go to a junkyard and find an old fbod.

I am going to be contacting Billy Graham's fbody salvage soon to see what they say.
