What size/brand converter are you running and what are you times with it? I am thinking about switching to a 4000-4200... do you all think that is too much for that cam?

my buddy with a 224 cam, headers and all the normal bolt ons runs 12.20s.
he has a vig 3200 stall.
going with a bigger stall is gonna give you traction issues.

I dont think that I will have any traction issues... I have QTP's for the track. Plus I already have a 3600, so the traction isnt going to change all that much. IMO

I run a Yank TP-4200 That or the 4400 would work well for your car.

Did you ever have the transmission rebuilt?

Nice... I was thinking about just getting a 4000 because I plan on spraying the car in the future... but that will not be for at least a year. So I might go ahead with the 4200.

No the trans, as far as I know, is the stock trans with 70k on it. I have plans on getting it rebuilt this winter. You think that could be hurting things?
