Default bad gas mileage and low speed vibration

I have been recently experienceing a problem with my A4 2001 SS. When I start from a stop, it will have a vibration and I will have ot give it plenty O' gas to get it moving (It bogs bad). On a round trip to and from work, 30 miles, it took a quarter tank of gas. While driving down the road I can hear a faint squeking noise as well.
Can anyone help point me in the right direction to get this fixed?

I think I'm having the same problem. Mine's 'slightly' different though. It does bog unless I'm in 3rd or OD. I talked to some local F-Body guys and they said it's trying to lock-up at too low of a speed/RPM. If that's the case with you too, all you'll need to do is get someone to take Edit to it and change the lock-up speed/RPM. As far as the gas mileage, I haven't really noticed much of a difference... yet
