11.5" tire on 8.5" rim??

I have a set of convo pros 15x 8.5 on the way and I'm hoping to run a 28" tire on them. Looking in Jegs I don't see ET streets in 28x10.5x15....Can I fit the 28x11.5x15 on the 8.5" rim with no problems?

according to m/t, they recomend a 8" rim with the 28x11.50x15. so you will be just fine.

they fit fine, they'll wear out the center quicker though

If you want ultimate hook run a set of 28x9x15 inch ET Drags or Hoosier drags with the soft compound.
