Default 408 cid Short- or Long-Block Assy. Ready to Ship!

We have a customer that we built a 408 cid long-block for but has decided at the last minute that a 427 cid would be better. The engine is currently assembled as a long-block, but we would be willing to sell it as a short-block. Here is what it's assembled with:

Long-Block
*New GM 6.0L Cast-Iron Engine Block
*Callies 4.00" Stroke Crankshaft
*Crower 6.125" Sportsman Connecting Rods
*Lunati 4.030" Forged Pistons with -13cc Reverse Dome
*Federal Mogul Race Main Bearings
*Clevite Race Rod Bearings
*New Camshaft Bearings
*Lunati Custom-Grind Camshaft: 234/240, .575"/.575", 113 LSA (Other camshaft can be substituted if desired)
*Comp Cams "R" Hydraulic Roller Lifters
*Patriot Performance Stage II LS6-Style Cylinder Heads with 64cc Combustion Chamber (Nets 10.5:1 compression ratio with -13cc Pistons)
*ARP Cylinder Head Studs
SALE PRICE: $7,195.00

Short-Block
*All of the above less camshaft, cylinder heads, lifters, ARP head studs
SALE PRICE: $4,995.00

Again, this engine is sitting on an engine stand, ready to ship. We've priced it to sell this week, so jump if you've been considering a stroker! This is built with some of the best parts on the market, so it is not your typical "budget build-up" with an Eagle crank and rods.

Feel free to give us a call if you have any questions about this engine. It is priced right and ready for a home!

Man if I needed a 408 I would be on this sale like glue on a mustang's tire at the track.
HA I just made that corny **** up myself.

What do you mean there isn't glue on the tire's? You are telling me they are really just that damn slow.

I may be able to swing it within the next few weeks. I'm waiting on the check for my Desert Race Project Blazer to come in. How would the streetability be with that camshaft? Is there a core charge? Let me know.

Thanks
James
