Building a nitrous motor:
I'm not sure if I want to build something to replace my blown motor, or what. I'm thinking of:
6.0 iron block
Lunati crank
forged rods and pistons
AFR heads
Upgrade all the studs and spray it 400 to 500.
Entertaining thoughts on this combo.

you will need custom pistons for that much... APE knows their ****. I have set coming.
My motor is a 4.03 bore Iron Block. Callies Crank. Lunati Pro Billet Rods. and Diamond Custom Dome Nitrous Pistons
APE Custom ARP Head Studs L19 i think they are... and ARP Main Studs.

I heard that it was about a 450 shot when they ran the 8.52. And that motor is still going strong in one of our members cars (I'm sure it was freshened up a bit).
Chris, what is your general lead time on a 408? I'm thinking of getting one in the car for next spring and I need to lay out a budget for the winter.
Thanks,
Andrew

Andrew, you would be looking at about 4-6 weeks right now. We are very busy for this time of year. If you are interested in one of our 408's or any engine from us just let me know. I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
Thanks,
Thanks,

We've run a 300 TNT on Jason's (TSP) C5 before, and will probably run a 300+ the next time on a bigger motor, just O-ringed so the gaskets make it 2 more passes than normal, lol.
