I went to the last test and tune in the Puget Sound area tonight and had real traction problems (as did most everyone else with street tires) well beyond the 60' mark which was very interesting.
I was actually able to launch my car better than last time with my 4.10's vs. the 3.73's as evidenced by my best ever 60' time of 2.099, however, once the RPM approached my torque band around 4500 RPM all hell broke loose in 1st and 2nd geaar and things got pretty squirly. Results below:
60'----2.099
330'---5.590
1/8----8.372
MPH---90.23
1000'--10.733
1/4----12.684
MPH---115.88
These times reflect my ported heads being installed and definately show more HP based on the MPH (2+ MPH over stock heads), however, I couldn't put all of the new found power to the pavement so the true potential of this combo won't really be demonstrated until next season when I will be forced to use stickier tires and a new clutch since my Z06 set-up started slipping tonight too.
