Default hit 500 rwhp !!!

I have mods in my sig + ATI P1SC 1 supercharger running around 7-8 lbs of boost. Got it tuned yesterday and hit 499.6 rwhp and 435.7 ftlbs of torque on the first run and with the cut out open I hit 502.05/436.98.

The first time I took it to get tuned with the P1SC1 it didnt do too well, but with the help of my dad, the guys at HPE (Chuck worked his *** off tunning on this car), and some of the people from LS1tech, I reached the 500 rwhp mark I was hoping for. Thanks alot for all the help.

hey jesterss, congrats on that awesome setup .

Did you happen to dyno the car before the supercharger install? Im planning on supercharging my TR 224 114 cam. Im glad you hit the 500rwhp mark on 7-8psi on a P1SC. That sounds great.

Im planning to make 550rwhp by getting heads and a D1SC at 6-7psi in the future. But, im worried about how reliable my setup would be and what not.

Man 500rwhp daily driving is gotta be kickass. Do you have a dynograph?

Maybe I should drive to houston one day and "maybe" even race you with me on spray (483rwhp) before 3:73s install. Best I ran on spray is 11.81@122mph w/ 1.91 60 ft on nittos DRs. I bet your car runs just as fast every damn day (if not faster and quicker)... haha that sounds awesome! Good job..

If you come down to san antonio let me know fo sho.. Would be very interested in seeing the car.

Love the project. I mean damn... Just think about how fast your SS moves every time you floor it... Man it would be so fast.. It would blast a Viper S R T to the past!! haha again love the setup.

congrats Im jealous

The Dyno before the P1SC was 360.57 rwhp and torque 352.79 torque running rich (12). The heads are off of a 97 corvette and they have stock valves, 918 springs and titanium retainers. I can't remember what the flow #s were, but they were decent. I have the dyno on my comp, but i don't know how to post it on here.

2002 taws6 - That sounds cool. PM me next time you are in Houston.

Thanks for all the positive feedback.

Nice numbers.... Its intresting to see someone with a SC open their cutout on the dyno. I see u gained 3rwhp and 1 rwtq. Did u gain anything under the curve with the cutout open? Did the boost pressure dropped with the cutout open?

From about 3800 to 5300 I lost hp and tq with the cut out open. Around 4500 rmp I lost like 10 rwhp and about 7 rwtq. I dont know about the boost pressure.

So cutouts are useless with a SC.

From what I heard it is because of my cam, but I don't really know why. When it was NA I saw about the same thing.

Right now I am running BFG KDW tires. I am hoping that as long as I don't put slicks on it things will be ok. You think it will be ok, or should I start saving up?
