Thumbs up TSP 231/237 become popular

From what I read & saw in forums is that this cam (TSP 231/237) become popular use, does it mean that it has great power gain and also its is street legal than other cams.
What is the range that gains from this cam?

It's not the greatest power gain cam out there.
There are plenty of other options nowadays. Just under a year ago, the 231/237 was one of the largest cams out there.
Cam-only M6 guys often see anywhere from 375-415 rwhp depending on their setup.

It's a great cam still and I love mine, but I'd now opt for a cam that offers a bit more torque.

i agree with Southy, if it were me i'd opt for the tsp 231/231 or 233/233 over the 231/237

I am also wanting to go with a new cam, and the TSP 231/237 is one of the ones im looking at, but of all of the "bigger" cams out there, I too would like to have more torque! What else would be a good cam for torque and HP? I a currently around 405tq and 440hp with the cam in sig.

TSP 233/233, or one of the larger Futral Cams.

dont **** with your proven setup , your putting out more power and tq then most bigger cam setups with your 228/224.

Yeah I have heard to leave my cam alone because I am making good numbers, but I wouldnt mind a little more torque, and I got to admit, the sound of the bigger cams is awsome!

TSP has their Torquer Camshaft. comes with 233/233 Duration Lift of .589/.589 and 112 LSA. i was looking for the same type of power some mean low end torque and good Hp numbers to go with it. they tell me this is the right cam for me it makes awesome low end torque.

If you're looking for the power of the 231/237 but with some added mid-range power, the 231/231 camshaft would be a great choice. I'm running the 231/231 in my '02 SS A4, and it is great. It will give you very similar HP gains as the 231/237 but will give you added mid-range torque vs. the 231/237. It has .598" lift and is ground on a 112 LSA. However, if you are wanting it on a different LSA, we can have it custom-ground for you for no additional charge. FYI, the 231/231 or 231/237 is $360 + shipping.

I'm on vacation and can't check my e-mail, but I can check PM's. Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.
