Default Tubular versus Boxed subframes

I just got a set of BMR subframes that I thought were boxed but ended up being tubular. Will the tubular be good enough or should I sell them and get a set of boxed?

Tubular will do just fine....in fact I chose tubular over the boxed because of their lightweight nature. With my Tubular subs, I can easily make nascar style jack-ups (jack in the middle of the frame and raise the front and back simultaneously). That's strong enuff for me. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I have the BMR tubular sub frame connectors and they work just fine. I didn;t want the boxed because they were too heavy for my liking.

Good luck,
tom

I have tubulars under my 9 second ride. Either is fine. I'd go with the lightest ones available. By the time you need more support than that you'll have a 10-point cage in the car which will make subframes a mute point anyway.
