Default Need launch help

ok every time I go to launch my car I spin all through out 1st and then chirp very hard in second. Will this hurt my rear end, is this normal, should I avoid this if so how without loosing a few .10's. What can I do to get better traction with my F1's. Mods in sig.

Launch Method-
Bring the clutch up to where it just grabs. Then I raise the rpms up to about 1800 give or take a few hundred. Then I let out the clutch pretty fast and floor it.

BTW I haven't gone to the track yet this is on the street(deserted commercial area after closing). I am going to the track this week and would appreciate the help. Thanks

Well first off, the track shouldd hook a lot better than the street , so it's going to be totally different. If you are shooting for good ETs , and I'm sure you are, you definitely do not want to spin the tires. You will need to find that happy medium between spinning them and bogging down. I would do a search on this in this section and I bet there will be a lot of info available to you. I wish I could help more , but I'm an A4 with a 3500 stall converter. Take care.
