Default PLZ help w/putting rear end back together

Okay so i have this 2002 WS6 3.42 posi rear, and the right side shaft broke, i got a new shaft sent to me, now i need some gear oil, and my pops said i needed some type of additive for that since its a limited slip, and then a certain gasket or some type of silicone to seal it...can anyone help me figure out what i need???

Go to a GM dealer and ask for Limited Slip Additive. Costs $7.75 retail (around here). Don't get the crap from Autozone. Get the gasket from Autozone and put a thin layer of RTV on the rear end and cover.

Also, make sure you clean that rearend out of any metal. Use carb leaner and rags on the end of a broom stick to clean out the tubes.
