Re: grinding down front brake calipers
Can some one help me out? I need to put a wider convo pro for the front before it starts to rain around here. Is this possible to do with a dremmel? How far down do I grind? Thanks again.

Re: grinding down front brake calipers
IMO, you will need a 4" grinder to take off enough metal to do any good. You will need to have the wheel bolted up and try to spin it by hand. It will leave marks on the caliper where it is hitting. I am using 15X4 CL Warriors with a 2 5/16" BS. I really only had to grind 2 specific areas to make it work. Just take your time and grind a little at a time. I had to bolt/un-bolt my wheels about 5 or 6 times to get it right. It took about an hour a side.

Re: grinding down front brake calipers
Why are you grinding the front calipers?
I run 15x3.5 Weld rims without grinding the front... just use 5/16 spacer.
Now.. you will need to grind the rears.. here's a website that will help you there... : Caliper Grind
Moving to Drag Racing section.

Re: grinding down front brake calipers
I apologize for posting in the wrong section. I am grinding the front brake calipers to mount 15x6 convo pro for winter driving (for the fronts). I am running 15 x 4's right now. Thanks guys.
