Default ANyone have weights on Convo Pro 15x4 and Moroso, or other skinnie?

I have a plain 165 on there now, and want to know what the weight difference would be with a lighter tire.

Or just give me the weight of the lightest tires out there. If I remember right, the Convo was 9 or 10 lbs. when I weighed it upon delivery. Thanks.

I weighed my ProStars 15/3.5 with 28/4.5/15 Moroso D2s at Thunder Racing on Sunday. They weighed 23 lbs. with the wheel weights for balance.

I know they are not Convo Pros but it should give ya an Idea. I hope this helps you out.

Thanks Coach. Why 28" instead of 26? My rim & tire right now weight around 24. So, I'm looking to drop a few lbs.

We can weigh mine sometime to give you an idea. I can tell you that the DS2's are pretty light on the Convo Pro.

I had 26's on the Hot Rod but my lights are so close to red lighting that we wanted to put a bigger tire(28's) on the front for more roll out. I have the Bracket Finals this weekend in Shreveport LA. and I dont need to be red lighting away the race.

Most S/E guys run the 28's anyway. This seems to be where my Hot Rod is heading. Stock Elim.

My 15x4 Convo Pros weigh in at 26 lbs. with Signet 165/15 VW tires mounted and balanced. These were weighed on a cheap bathroom scale, so there could be a lb. or two of variance either way.

I went with the ET Front on a 7lb Bogart.
