i have the vig3600/3.23's, nittos, and all bolt ons and i only stall to 1300 or so...

I usually try to leave as close to idle as i can and either roll into the gas or hit it provided the tracks prepped good. I cut a 1.58 rollin into the gas on nittos(roughly 1200rpms).

with the cam I cant launch worth squat and ive only a 1.64 best leaving near idle. I tried revving the car up and leaving but it just smokes the tires also. Frankly i dont see a major difference in idle or 2k leaving if the tracks hooking.

vigs supposedly like being flashed though <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I usually stall mine to 1200-1300, but last night I tried stalling as high as the foot brake would hold it. The car seemed to launch much harder when stalled higher.
I still have more testing to do.
