Default Think I've got my combo worked out... Except for the cam

Right now, my M6 99 T/A just has a lid and a Loudmouth. I'm looking for comments on my planned build, and assistance in cam selection.

Stage 1:
Hypertech (already own it, that's why!)
Mac Mid Length's and ORY (Planning on lowering it.)
3.73's (Want to keep the top end.)

Stage 2:
LS6 Manifold
Ported Aftermarket T/B & MAF
K&N FIPK or Volant System

Stage 3:
Patriot Stage 2 heads & port LS6 manifold.
Unknown Cam.
Full tune.

I plan on keeping the revs under 6500 until I get a better bottom-end put in. I know the stock bottom is pretty good, but this is my daily driver, and I can't afford to grenade the motor.

I want an aggressive sounding cam - don't we all - but it has to be streetable and run fine on pump gas. I like the sound and power of the G5X3, but isn't that more suitable for a car that will see 7k on the tach? My car will see a drag strip a few times a year, but that's not the goal. I'd like to see 400+ at the rear wheels.

Cam or other suggestions are welcome.

If you have the money to spend on headers I'd suggest the Kook's over the Mac's. You get pretty much the same ground clearence, but you'll have long tubes. As far as the cam I'd try something like this: TSP 228/228 .588/.588 112 LSA It's not huge, but still a decent size and doesn't need to be spun to 7k.
