Do larger cams= valve train noise?

Do larger cams= valvetrain noise? I recently did a cam swap and the engine seems like it has very loud lifter noise is this normal on a heads and cam car (larger cam)?
I just don't want to be scared to drive the car if this could hurt somthing. Thanks again guys
This was also done by profesonal installers so I know the install was excellent just curious if louder valve train noise is normal. the car runs fabulous just a newbie to the modded ls1
