Default ET Gains w/ 12 bolt and 4:11s

I'm getting my Moser 12 bolt, 33 spline with 4:11s installed in 2 weeks and pretty excited about it...

So far I've been fairly easy on the launches and my best 60' is a 2.1x. With 245/50 nittos and an otherwise stock suspension, what kind of gains can I expect on the ET with the 12 bolt and gears? I hear 4:11s are worth close to 3 tenths. Hoping to get down to a 1.9x 60'. So is it realistic to expect a 0.5 second improvement in ET from the 12 bolt?

Kind of hopin' so, its the single most expensive mod for me by far... I'd love some input from those of you with real world experience to get my goals realistic.

Oh yeah, I'm an MN6 with ~390 rwhp.

i ran 12.4X's w/ my stock 10-bolt then changed over to the 12-bolt w/ 4.11's and ran 12.2X's till my drive shaft snaped so i know i could have done alot better.

What kind of damage did the drive shaft do when it broke?

i did the 12bolt w/4.11 swap and broke my driveshaft too. the 12bolt w/4.11's will not break anything, the sticky tires/slicks that do damage. when my driveshaft broke it was a result of my stock tq-arm that snaped it two and also bent my shocks and one stock lca. i dont know what the 12 bolt w/4.11's gained me in the 1/4mi,but switching from nittos to a m&h racemaster tire took me from 12.4 to 11.8 and my 60's went from 2.0 to 1.6's.(1.59 best) take a look at the m&h tires www.intercotire.com i was on the 305/40/16 musclecar drags on some old 1997 lt1 rims. goodluck with the rear.

didnt do much damage at all since i have a safety loop. most it did was put a small ding in my exhaust pipe back where it broke. I was running BFG Comp TA's when i broke mine. with a good clutch and rear it will find the weakest link and that was the stock driveshaft
