Drag Racing Tech - confused...car gained 2mph in 1/8 lost 5 in 1/4

Just got back from the track and I'm confused about what's going on. My last runs were in 80* heat and tonite was in the lower 60's so I was expecting to pick up a bit. My times were pretty close but here's where I'm lost. My 60's were withing .03 of one another but I gained 2 mph in the 1/8th mile but lost 5+ in the 1/4. Any ideas? These runs are NA.

I'm no expert, but these things would come to my mind. Might be a convertor issue, or might be getting some knock retard as you get moving down the track.. Did you log the passes?

brad, what did you run?

11.1-11.3@121-123 car has been trapping 127-128. I didn't log the runs. Might have to go do some highway runs to see what's up.

If your ET got quicker despite the lowered trap speed, I'd say the timing equipment may be off. Did you try the other lane?

I made runs from both lanes. All runs were within 1.5mph of another.
