Hey guys recently I have been having trouble with my tranny slipping only in 4th gear. I had the fluid changed and the same problem is still there. I have the stock 4l60Extra Crap in there and was wondering that for a non-track car what would be my best replacement. I am kinda strapped for cash and I don't plan on making more than about 400 HP. Them 4l80E's are the **** on price and so are new 4L60E's I have seen TH-400's for about 1,100 and was thinking of going that route. But from what i've seen normal daily driving sounds like a PITA with the 400. So many choices I don't know what to do now maybe you guys can help me. And for the sponsors out there PM me with any deals you can offer me. I don't have a whole lot to spend here maybe $1,500 bucks at the most. Please Help. Thanks

400 HP? I'd just replace the band, clutch packs (even stock ones would work fine at that power level but I think I'd go ahead and upgrade while I was in there), and maybe install a TCI shift kit.
