can i use a g5x3 in a all stock motor?? granted i upgrade the valve springs will this work or will i have to worrie about the valves smacking the pistons? i belive its a 114LSA

the heads are stock, but ported 98 5.7L. the old motor in my sig spun a rod at the big GM event last year in stanton! i was in 4th out of 130+ cars and it let go! the guy i lost to one it all and i know i could have beat him! the motor i am putting in it is all stock but it has all the ARP goodies in it! i tried selling it on ebay for 2200 but now i am just gonna use it instead!
