Default Moser 9" have a newer and lighter torque arm bracket?

I got my Moser 9" back in 1999/2000.

Did they redesign the torque arm bracket, it just remembered seeing a nicer looking one on someone's car this past year.

I'm looking for some weight savings.

Its probably not much lighter then the old welded up one but it sure looks a lot nicer, I posted the weight of it here about 6mos ago.

it's a one piece cast version now and light it is not! Maybe someone could talk a sponsor into making a billet aluminum version?!?!?!

Hmmm 14 lbs for the newer design, I wonder what the old one weighs. Thanks for the info Kev!
