Question 4L60E to a 4L80E Trans??

Hi all,

Some info needed from those that have gone and put a 4L80E behind there LS1.

How did you go with speed sensors and the main electrical plug?

What and how did you handle the wiring?

Can you tell the computer that you now have a 4L80E via LS1 edit?
Will the standard ls1 type computer controll the shift points etc?
Did you use the standard flex/drive plate?

All help will be greatly appreciated

I am on my 4th 4L60E...and have had enough!!

Do a search in the truck performance section. Several guys have done the conversion.
