Default Another question about 5-point harnesses

Where does everyone mount the crotch strap? I've seen pics where you use a bracket and i know Wolfe sells brackets. I was just wondering what everyone did. I don't plan on removing my factory 3-point. I just want to be able to throw in the harness for the occasional track day then take it out when not in use. I'm using my factory camaro seats also

Thanks

I have the Wolfe brackets but they don't fit on my Corbeau seat brackets well. The adjuster on the seat hits the bracket. I've seen some people just bolt it through the floor pan like the side lap belts. I haven't checked out how sturdy that part of the floor pan is but I have seen several do it that way. If you have stock seats definitely do the Wolfe brackets though.

I drilled a hole under my seat into the floorpan and used a washer on both sides of the sheetmetal. Should hold just fine, I'd hate for my crotch to be abused hard enough to rip sheetmetal loose <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
