Using LM-1 as wide AND NARROW band? IE removing stock o2
anyone done this? Their instructions say you can remove a stock o2 and use their wideband as a narrow as well. Is the C5 a 0-1V setup as I presume? If so, is there any problem doing the above rather then welding in a new bung? It'd save me some time by just rewiring the LM-1s wideband to integrate w/ the OEM o2 wiring.

I was going to do the same thing. I was thinking about buying two on the Bosch O2's and replace the front sensors and wire them into the stock OEM wiring. Wire them into a switch so I can log bank1 or bank 2. Let me know if anyone has done this. I'm going to buy the Zeitronix since it’s cheaper.

One of things you need to check first on your WB is to see the Voltage to A/F curve for the Narrow band. Some are linear meaning 0 volts is 9-10.0 A/F ratio and 1.0 volt is 20.0 A/F where the stock is completely different. As long as the 800-900 mv range is Stochiometric you should be ok.
On my setup you can define what "Stochiometric" is so if you wanted to run @ 13.1 A/F ratio you could make the W/B output that voltage @ .880mv. It is all software configurable but I am not sure as to what your WB's capabilities are. Some WB's output a Narrow band signal just to make those Autometer A/F guages work a little more accurately.

what he said, but as of now, im trying to see just how much high flow cats skew my WB o2 readings. IM thinking of just removing one of the rear sensors and turning off the codes it generates.

The analog output has two channels with independent
programmable (via laptop) transfer functions. You could
use one for logging and one to simulate the front O2. I
think you would want to turn the smoother filtering all the
way off for the one that's feeding the PCM.
