A 26" tire would take you through the traps (using 120mph) at between 6300-6400, which sounds about right for a bolt-on LS1.

A M/T ET Drag 26x10.5x15" tire would probably work very well.

i agree, 26x10 et drag would provide a little better traction than a et street. you could also go with the 27x11.5 hoosier qtp's like me and moose run.

I agree with the above. The manual trans lets you leave hard enough where you need a ET drag instead of the street.

I used hardtops, et streets and they felt wesome. but i think there is more traction to be had once i get the 12 bolt. i want to be able to leave the line and cross the 1320 right at redline. but i dont want to do heads and cam yet. thanks alot guys. anybody else got any info?

moose got a 1.52 on them that day at mir. i got a 1.51 on the spray on them. they seem to work noce if you have the gear for them. moose runs the 4.30's in his car on them, but with 4.10's, you should cross right at 6100-6200 with no problem.

Moose and Evil I just changed to 27x11.5x15 QTP and I like them also. I ran 1.53 shortime and 11.67 with a stockhead stockbottomend Lt1. I run the tires with no tubes. I now have 22 runs on them with a 1.55 average shortime. Frank95z
