Default More advice on installing Fast Toys Ram Air Kit...

Ok the instructions they sent me with this thing are about as vague as as they can possibly be and still be called "instructions" ...

I cut the air box where the filter tray sits in with my dremel tool then deburred it and sanded the edges, but now I can't figure out how you're supposed to get the plastic air deflector in front of the A/C condenser out withour breaking the freaking things.

They say "remove the two barbed clips below the hood latch completley" ... Ok I take it those are the two white ones you see looking directly down at the hood latch?

Ok so let's say I get those out, how the hell do I get the rest of the air deflector out? I can't find any more clips to pull and I don't wanna rip the thing apart trying to get it out like they say in the instructions...

So what is the best way to accomplish this?

BTW this is for the 00-02 kit.

ok I figured out that part of it and almost have the air scoop mounted, but I don't wanna drill holes until I'm exactly sure what to do.

I push it all the way forward then drill where the 2 holes are?

Also, where does that "rubber support" thing that it came with go? I can't quite tell from the instructions?

If you go onto SLP's site for their CAI there is a link to instructions. Since the two units are similar, this might help.
