Default G-Force 205CC AFR Head Flow #'s Inside!

These are the cylinder heads going on our shop car this next week. We bought them as rough castings (No CNC Porting from AFR) from AFR a couple of weeks ago and turned them over to GTP to have them worked over. After about a week we got the heads back and these are the results!

Head Info:
2.02/1.60 Valves
Flowed on a stock bore

Lift .200 .300 .400 .500 .550 .600 .650 .700
Intake 139 193 245 293 310 320 322 325
Exhaust 110 156 199 217 223 227 229 230

Those numbers seem to be pretty good considering that was the first pair GTP has seen and hasn't had a chance to experiement with them. These heads were flowed on both an SF-600 and an SF-1020. The numbers for both flowbenches were exactly the same.

These heads have the smallest ports of any Stage 2 LSX head I've seen. The velocity numbers have got to be super high. These heads are going to make a lot of torque.

We're going to have the shop car up and running the next week, so we'll post back with the dyno numbers, but we're looking for an AWESOME torque number, and horsepower in the 455/460 range on a stock shortblock. I doubt we'll post the nitrous numbers though.

If you're interested in a set of these heads, shoot me or Mike TexaSS a PM and we'll get you taken care of!

You can have these heads CNC ported by AFR if you want, but we chose to buy the bare castings and have somebody else hand port them. The results are looking pretty good so far.

The chamber size is very small. I'll get the exact port volume and post back.

I just got off the phone with Craig and he said the port volume is 206cc's.

Here are some pictures of the heads that we got this morning.

Enjoy....

The chamber size on these heads is small for our application, but I BELIEVE it's 53CC.
