Mine was a 1.92 also on my stock rear with stock clutch, I did not want to push it any harder on the stock rear.

This was done with 4.10 gears in stock 10 bolt with a rearend girdle and 85/140 royal Purple gearoil for extra cushion. Centerforce duel friction clutch. I use to just clean the tires off and pull 1.90's but seen a freind hook hard by doing a big burn out and now so do I. My 60/fts stay in the 1.7's for the most part and dip in the low 1.7's if I get aggressive( 4200 rpm's and dump).Check sig for more on my set up. new best is 11.75 @ 118.49 mph with 1.72 60/ft

I got a 1.92 with a 4000 grand launch with stock clutch and 3.42s. They were dead hooking. Had to do a long burnout though.

I got a best of 1.709 11.807 @ 117.03 at VMP
then a 1.748 on a different day i went 11.779 @ 118.90 than wsa at MIR

My best 60' time was a 2.2 on 275/40/17 nittos and thats with a lot of spinning. I've got stock 3.42's with a star stage 3 clutch.

Myabe its because i have a burnt posi and only 1 tire spins <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

I still do some 2.3's on my nittos if i dont get it right. Best i found do a burn out, rev and hold to 4k, then drop the clutch, that lets me have 1.9-2.1's

any other ways that are better??

On a good hooking track I run 18 psi in the nittos, and on a not as good track I run 16 psi. It does take a good burnout to work though. I also recommend to go aruond the water and back into it with the rear tires and then roll forward untill you are out of the water to start spinning ,for those that did not know. Chad

3.42 gears</strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">1.70's on nittos for me so i say they dont suck. you just have to know how to launch them. every tire is different. you just need to know how to launch what ever thire you choose.
