CTS-V posts better time than Vette/Viper in SCCA
Of course I don't know how "stock" one would consider this car especially with full factory backing but here is the Article:

Although it is faster, the race car is far from "stock". EX. the engine/driveline is set back 6-8 inches and the driver sits in the back seat. all in the name of better weight distribution. Some how i don't think the real CTS-V are configured that way.
ps. for a true listing of how fast a true showroom car is, check out the scca's classing for amature racing. The cts-v is a Touring-2 car where as vettes and vipers are Touring 1.
