Legalities of tires at tracks How thin can I run my Nittos (or any tire for that matter) before I won't get through tech? The center lines are about gone. But the deeper lines neer the edge are still above the wear bars.

You can burn the rubber down all the way to the radial belts before you need to replace them, however, I have found that as you get close to the belts your traction starts to go away from not enough rubber to grip the track or street! Anyhow, jump in the car, go race, have fun, and stop worrying about the tires!!...Randy
