Check out this new HVAC Delete kit from Billingsley Racing.
HVAC Delete Kit (http://www.billingsleyracing.biz/interior_saftey.htm)

Once the bulky heater-a/c box is removed, this plate will bolt into the existing firewall holes for a professional finish. Comes complete with new mounting hardware.

Nice product! Looks great too. I`ve been looking for a blower motor housing from a NON-A/C car for a while now with no luck. (Wanted to keep the heat functional)
But it sure would be alot better to have it ALL out of there now! Now, if I could just figure out how to get that housing off without tearing the whole car apart!!!

I deleted my A/C and heater box too. I removed it to install the under dash bar for my new 10 point cage.

I can't do without the heat either in Pennsylvania. I bought one of those light weight heaters from Summit. Weighs 6 lbs. JFYI the heater box, heater core, A/C core? and duct vents weighed in at 21.5 lbs.

I would get one of these block off plates if the Company LOGO was not on it. Do they have any without the LOGO? I'll install a FREE one with the LOGO. Sort of a mini sponsership? There WILL BE alot of people wanting to take a peek under MY hood in the spring.

Also, what material is used and how thick?

Tom

The plates are .090 Aluminum and weigh 1.8 lb. The logo is a decal that comes with the kit> it does not have to be installed

Anyone know exactly what the rule book says concerning
the firewall?
and for the various ET's/MPH's?

The plate looks nice.

I don't need heat here on the gulf coast, but I sure do need a defroster because of the 100+% humidity.

thanks!
