Vette LS1 to transmission?

Vette LS1 to transmission? I know the vettes tranny is in the back and it's connected with a shaft of some sort. If I put an fbody 4L60E w/ the fbody flex plate, would it work on the vette engine? I'm not getting power to the tranny after I put a 2001 vette motor in, and I'm thinking the torque converter came unseated, but I just wanted to check on this. Thanks a lot.
I thought this was the best location for this question becuase of the engine difference, not so much the tranny.
