Hi there popocamaro2, I have the Kumho Ecsta MXs all around and they are great. No rubbing and BFH. They are .3 inches taller but no problem. Hope this helps.

I run 285/40 17s all around on 10 spokes minor rub up front on the wheel well, but only when you max it to one side., not enough to be a problem. I have never had any issues, car handles a lil rough on un even streets cuz the front is big, but thats minor vs all the stabality I have on the freeway and twistys. The stance is alot meaner too.....

I'm also running 285 Goodyear GSD3's all they way around on the stock 10 spokes. I had minor rubbing issues up front at full turn. This was fixed by pushing back the black plastic inside the fenderwell out of harms way. My driver's rear tire would rub ever so slightly doing hard corners but that was also fixed with a BFH along with touching up the place where I hit to where it's now unnoticeable. Beware the GSD3 tires run large for their size compared to other 285 widths. I stood my 285's against a Nitto 555R Drag Radial in 315 size and they were almost identical.

I have 285/40-17 GS-D3s too, have not rubbed anything
yet and I'm lowered 1". They squirm a little in the corners
but I have not found the adhesion limit yet. They hook like
mad compared to F1s. If I were to do it over I would
probably go with 275s in this brand/model, but they are
OK, just a tad chubby looking relative to the rim. They
want more tire pressure to look right.
