3350 lbs, +800 DA, 11.45 @ 117.33 Stock internals!
I normally post as Lane, but I'm at home and forgot my password and can't get into my normal email - and I can't wait till Monday to post this!
There's no doubt in my mind if I stripped the car down, it would break the SI record of 11.27. It's always ran very well, but after some tuning with LS1 edit(huge thanks to Chris March at AMS in Arlington, TX) - increasing timing and removing torque management, which was killing me - this thing is flying now!
The car ran three 11.4s and started the day with an 11.53. All mid 1.5 60's.
Breakdown of the run is:
1.53
7.27 @ 93.58
11.458 @ 117.33
Mod's are lid, bellows, Home-mad ram air(unfinished), TB bypass, Holley filter, ported TB(myself), descreened stock maf, ASP pulley, 160* Tstat, C-coated MAC's, 2.5" Dr Gas X true duals, short-belt, Pro Stars, Hoosier slicks - 26x9.00-15's, Hoosiers up front as well on skinnies.
Yank PT 4200 , tranny cooler, Auburn Pro, 3.42's.
HAL's all around, with HAL springs up front, V6 springs rear, Random Tech TA, MAC LCA's, MAC SFC's.
Run's were made at Hallsville Raceway in Hallsville, TX 11-30-02. Had a bad cross(slight tail)-wind. I didn't check the DA, but Chris Marsh did and it came up at +800, temps were mid 60's, but humidity was very low, and I'm not sure about the baro.

BTW, pal, the install over at Graves' went very well. Couldn't be happier. They cut me quite a deal on the labor too...$80.
If we're going to count Hallsville times, it looks like the Waco crew will have to make a couple or three trips down there as well. There's a Rustang guy here locally that says 10's absolutely can't be done with an internally-stock LS1. Well, I feel I could do it at Hallsville, so I'll give that a try probably some time in January.

Hallsville rocked - for me.. But, I talked to several that didn't run any better than Ennis, etc. And a bunch were having trouble hooking. Man, I WASN'T! The track isn't downhill either - there is a dip in the right lane, and a bump or something in the left. I had to tighten up the front HAL's when in the left to keep from bouncing.
The air is just excellent IMHO. A track in a forest basically.

Nice runs Lane. I hope to be seeing you get closer to the record soon. When is the next time your bunch is heading out to Hallsville?
