Default 2 second delay before the trans kiks down...?

i recently had my 10-bolt blow on me. it locked up and the guys over at APE said that more than likely hurt my trans, but didnt necessarily break the whole thing. so once i got my car back i have been afraid to "nail iit, or go WOT" i havent put the pedal on the floor once since it happen about 2.5 weeks ago. so i was on the freeway and i needed to get around a car so i went WOT. expecting it to automatically downshift and starting cruzn it paused, slowly accelerated, then kikd down. it was a good 2seconds b4 it kikd down.

any thoughts on this would be appreciated

check fluid... you might not have adequate pressure.

Ive heard that if you have a MAF it takes about that time for the power surge to catch on. Also, you could look into the burst spark retard and see if thats pulling timing. Burst is enabled to prevent the car leaning out when you pump the throttle.

All times are GMT -5. The time now is 04:00 PM.
